The Plough has been put up for sale at an asking price of £550,000+vat. As an ACV listed property (Asset of Community Value), the seller is prohibited from selling the property for an initial period of 6 weeks. TVBC have contacted the LCA to advise that the clock on the sale moratorium period started on December 16th, and Longparish Community Pub Ltd (LCPL) will trigger the full moratorium extension period by notifying TVBC of their intention to bid. The moratorium will then expire on June 16th 2020.
Meanwhile, an application for support funding has been submitted to Plunkett, to assist with developing LCPL's business Plan and issuing a community share offer. The goal now is to submit a realistic bid to purchase the Plough Inn within the moratorium period.
