At their Extraordinary Meeting on Monday June 22nd, after considering comments and feedback from an extended community consultation seeking the views on the proposal to borrow, Longparish Parish Council voted unanimously to apply for a £300,000 loan from the Public Works Loan Board to support the campaign to acquire the Plough Inn for the community. This is a huge boost for the campaign which, if successful, would lead to the Parish Council securing the Plough Inn as a community asset.
